Position: Reporting Officer
Type: Full Time (35 hours/week)
Location: Gaza, Palestine
Reporting to: Reporting and Quality Control Manager
Contract: 12 Months Fixed-Term
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
MAP is seeking a dedicated Reporting Officer who will play a key role in strengthening the quality and consistency of reporting across our Gaza programmes. The officer will support the development of standardised templates and systems, compile and analyse programme reports, and ensure timely and accurate submissions for internal use and donor requirements. This role also involves integrating MEAL insights and beneficiary feedback into reports, maintaining a reporting tracker, and keeping information management systems up to date.

The Reporting Officer will collaborate closely with Gaza-based and UK teams, including MEAL, finance, and programme staff, to ensure aligned and effective reporting. They will also support capacity-building efforts by providing guidance, training, and feedback to enhance reporting quality. In coordination with the AAP Officer, the role includes incorporating accountability data and beneficiary input to promote learning and improve programme responsiveness.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in programme reporting, data management, and quality assurance. They will be skilled in developing and standardising reporting tools, compiling and analysing programme data, and ensuring timely, accurate reports for both internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with MEAL systems, donor reporting requirements, and the ability to integrate feedback and learning into reports is essential.

The Reporting officer will also be a strong collaborator, working closely with programme, MEAL, finance, and UK-based teams. They should have experience in building capacity, delivering training, and supporting continuous improvement in reporting practices. A commitment to accountability and responsiveness to beneficiary feedback is key to success in this role.
