The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:
Procurement Officer
1-Vacancy No. : 012/2015/X
2-Duty Station : Field Office Jerusalem
3-Department
rocurement & Logistics Department4-Basic Salary : 736.2 JD+ that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency &
the candidate qualifications.
Other fringe benefits include provident fund & health insurance.
5-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
An allowance of 1000 NIS payable in JD at UNRWA rate.
6-Qualifications:
-A university degree in Business Administration or in a subject related to the above functions.
-Four years experience in procurement.
-Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Possession of a valid driving license.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-Familiarity with Agency’s financial regulations.
-Technical understanding of materials typically purchased by the Agency.
-Excellent knowledge of computer applications.
-Certification in ICDL.
-Good Knowledge of the System Application Product (SAP).
-Familiarity with the UN Agencies & international organizations Common system, practices, Rules and Regulations.
