Assignment Title: Web Design Consultant

The Abraham Path Initiative (API) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Masar Ibrahim/Abraham Path: Economic Development Across Fragile Communitiesproject, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for web design and consultation. The consulting services (“the Services”) include designing a new website for the organization Masar Ibrahim al Khalil (MIAK), training MIAK staff on the Content Management System, and providing technical web support to MIAK.
The assignment is expected to span between November 31, 2014 and March 31, 2016 with an expected effort level 50 working days.
The Abraham Path Initiative now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
The shortlisting criteria are: General Qualifications, Adequacy for the Assignment, and Relevant Experience. Candidate requirements include a university degree in a relevant field (computer science, graphic design, communications, etc.), fluency in Arabic and English, and ability to travel in all areas of the West Bank. Candidates should have at least 5 year of experience in web design and development.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’sGuidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants [under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants] by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
