Wajdi University College of Technology- Project Coordinator- Graphics, Animation & Multimedia Lab Project
Wajdi University College of Technology (WUCT), has received a grant from the Quality Improvement Fund (QIF)- Ministry of Education and Higher Education and funded by the World Bank to implement a project entitled: “Graphics Animation and Multimedia Lab” (GAML) and intend to apply part of this grant for the selection and employment of the following highly qualified consultant to be part of the small core staff responsible for the implementation of the project under the supervision of the project director and the steering committee
Assignment Objective
Wajdi University College of Technology (WUCT), is considering the selection of highly qualified Project Coordinator to be part of the administrative staff responsible for the overall implementation and coordination of all Project activities under the supervision of the Project Director and the Steering Committee.
TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
1-Managing project internal and external communications including drafting letters, emails, reports, meeting minutes, etc.
2-Ensure the successful implementation of the project.
3-Supervising the project action plan and control modifying it as needed.
4-Manage and control all steering committee meetings and project stakeholders.
5-Following the systems and processes necessary for tracking the project.
6-Follow up financial reports and insure incompliance with donor’s regulation.
7-Follow-up all procurement and financial issues related to the project in accordance with the World Bank procurement procedures and guidelines
8-Supervising training plan in cooperation with the private partner.
9-Ensure quality standards in all project’s activities in cooperation with the quality assurance unit at WUCT.
10-Participate in all reports preparation.
Qualifications & Skills:
1-Bachelor Degree from an accredited University in Business Administration, Project management, MIS, or Management.
2-Hands-on experience in a related area for at least 3 years
3-High degree of independence and flexibility.
4-Excellent written and oral communication and networking skills
5-Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English and Arabic.
6-Excellent technical, interpersonal and conceptual administrative skills.
7-Excellent Command of English Language.
8-Budgeting and Financial reports.
Place of Work: WUCT campus in Jerusalem (Ibrahimieh College), Mount of Olives.
Time Frame:
The duration of the assignment is 25 months. The consultant is required to work at least according to the institution working days and working hours.
