Quality Officer
Qualifications:
-This position requires staff with a Master degree in any Health care field or preferable a Master degree in Quality Management. The candidate must have a valid professional license issued by the
Ministry of Health, and must have at least one to three years’ documented previous experience in
Quality management, supervision and as a facilitator in a hospital set-up.
Requirements:
-Fills correctly and completely all the data required for the surveys and other patient safety activities.
-Contributes in analyzing correctly all the data.
-Coordinates and prepares meetings for quality, patient safety and risk.
-Writing reports and correspondence; doing translations, and filling questionnaires.
-Works on policies and procedures for the hospital.
-Develops action plans and follows the different activities.
-Continuous supervision to locate special danger and find chances for improvement.
-Specifies the special points for improvement and coordinates the activities with the other committees.
-Participates in the orientation plan for new employees, students and trainees.
-Educates all the staff members and others regarding Patient safety-Risk activities.
-Should be straightforward in reporting any mistake.
-Is bound to professional and functional confidentiality and trust.
-Should show motivation and initiative to update job-related knowledge by reviewing of literature, willingness to enroll in continuous education programs and offering suggestions to improve the work setting.
