The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:
Senior Staff Nurse
1-Vacancy No. : 015/2015/X
2-Duty Station : Qalqilia Hospital
3-Department : Health Department
4-Basic Salary : 546.1 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency
& the candidate qualifications.
Other fringe benefits include provident fund & health insurance.
5-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
6-Qualifications:
-Possession of a B.S. in nursing or a diploma in general nursing of at least three years’ duration.
-A license to practice nursing in the country of duty station.
-At least three years of satisfactory working experience as a qualified nurse provided with a certificate of satisfactory working experience for one year in maternal and child health.
-Experience in the use of computers and an understanding of their use in health applications.
-Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
Competencies
-Ability to work under pressure and cope with heavy workload.
-Adequate computer skills.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-Self-motivated.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or certificate in midwifery or public health nursing.
