The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:
Project Officer (JCP)
1-Vacancy No. : 163/2014/X
2-Duty Station : Nablus JCP Office
3-Department : Job Creation Programme/ Job Creation Programme
4-Basic Salary : 658.7 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency & the
candidate qualifications.Other fringe benefits include provident fund & health insurance.
5-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
6-Qualifications:
-Two years diploma in business and office practice or related discipline.
-Preference will be given to BA holders, in the field of Engineering, Business Administration
or a related field.
-At least five years’ experience in projects implementation or socio economics or business
development/sales; similar experience in NGOs or within UNRWA or in the private sector.
-Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
Competencies:
-Good analytical and statistical skills;
-Good communication and interviewing skills;
-Proficiency in computer standard applications used by the Agency;
-Ability to work under pressure.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a valid driving license.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The incumbent may be required to work beyond regular working hours.
