World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world.
World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking:​

Monitoring & Evaluation Officer​

The successful candidate will:
Contribute to the development and implementation of an effective monitoring system
for projects and programs
Organize with the field staff the execution of baseline surveys, assessments and evaluations for projects and programmes
Coordinate knowledge management and programmatic databases
Work with field staff in preparing annual monitoring plans
Build the capacity of fieldstaff and serve as a technical resource on monitoring and evaluation issues

Qualifications/Requirements:
-Bachelor degree (Master’s degree preferred) in social sciences, development studies, statistics or other relevant field
-Minimum 3 years’ experience in program development, design, monitoring and evaluation with an international NGO
-Excellent language skills in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
-Knowledge of basic statistics and data collection methods
-Commitment to achieving quality results and service
-Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
-Ability to think clearly, deeply and broadly
-Solid understanding of the humanitarian industry
-Commitment to learning for growth and development
-Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work cross culturally
-Demonstrated effectiveness in influencing individuals and groups
-Thorough knowledge of MS Office (knowledge of SPSS an advantage)
-Ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle and willingness to travel throughout the WB and Gaza
-Availability for occasional international travel
-Integrity and strong identification with World Vision’s Core Values
-Based in Jerusalem, Hebron or Berzeit
