Logistics Officer​

​

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an independent, neutral organization ensuring humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of war and armed violence. It takes action in response to emergencies and at the same time promotes respect for international humanitarian law and its implementation in national law.

Your Job (specific and general activities)
-Responsible for all the requisition orders for the ICRC within logistics department.
-Responsible to create a tracking table and follow up for Requisition orders with other departments
-Examines, Monitors, makes recommendations and informs client of the ICRC for delays.
-In coordination with the direct supervisor, identifies the disseminates priorities for procurement.
-Provides training on the Logistics software when needed.
-Responsible to create a tracking and follow up for all purchase orders with other departments.
-Creates nonstandard items codes and maintains coding register.
-Prepares needed monthly logistics statistical reports.
-Responsible for the secretarial part of the department such as Filing, Holidays follow up and stationary stock.

Your Profile (skills & experience required)
-High school level or professional school similar level.
-Good knowledge of written and spoken English
-Good computer skills.
-Capacity to adhere to ICRC procedures.
