TERMS OF REFERENCE
Position: Data Entry Clerk (2 positions)
Place of Performance: Gaza
Contract Duration: One year with possibility of extension
Starting Date: TBC
OVERVIEW OF CTG GLOBAL
CTG Global is a managed service company specializing in Recruitment, Management Consultancy, Human Resources support services and Monitoring & Evaluation in post disaster and post conflict countries around the world.

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
The main responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerks are to maintain the Materials Tracking System (MTS) database by entering new and updated information and creating reports.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Purpose and Scope of Assignment:
The clerk core duties will include, but are not limited to, assisting in:
-Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities;
-Verifying data entered into computer by checking printouts for errors and correcting as required;
-Monitoring the system for malfunctions;
-Securing information by completing data base backups;
-Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes;
-Maintaining customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential;
-Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
-Performing other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Education:
-Completion of Secondary school education. Post-secondary education, in Administration or other relevant discipline, is an advantage but not required.
Work Experience:
-Minimum 4-5 years of experience in data entry;
Key Competencies:
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion concerning case information;
-Detail oriented;
-Comfortable working with basic keyboarding and computer navigation;
-Ability to type accurately and fast under pressure
-Knowledge of word processing software and systems (i.e. Microsoft Office);
-Ability to multi-task and work in an environment where there may be frequent distractions;
-Previous experience in data entry is an asset;
-Ability to work in a team;
-Ability to work effectively under conditions of limited or dual supervision, high stress and rapidly changing situations and circumstances.
Languages:
-Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English;
