The Palestinian Center for Peace and Democracy is interested to hire project coordinator, under the following responsibilies:
-Coordination with group of youth from the regions involved in the PCPD activities.
-Overall management of the project, including managing a budget, planning, implementation and reporting.
-Follow up and monitor the project implementation, ensuring that the objectives are met.
-Regular field visit.
-High level reporting to the PCPD administration and the donors.
-Ability to develop programs and dsign a yearly work plan.
-Provide administrative and logistic support to the PCPD in general and to the project in particular.
-Take care of all logistics arrangement related to the various activities of the program as requested; meeting, training, travel, producing a newsletter,…etc.
-Support the mainstreaming of gender in the organization and contribute to more equal society through gender conscious behavior, role modeling and openness capacity building.
-Perform any other duties requested by the director and assist in other tasks whenever needed.
-Be in charge of all the administrative work related to the project. Qualification:
-BA in political science, development or gender.
-Minimum three years of experience with project coordination with a Palestinian or international NGO.
-Previous experience in cycle management, including development, implementation and monitoring of project goals.
-Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
-Excellent computer competency.
-Ability to lead, motivate and inspire youth groups.
-High level skills in communication, professionalism.
-Ability to network and to establish youth groups and maintain clear communication between the groups.
-Ability to work closely with all staff at the organization.
-Residence of Ramallah.
