Finance Officer - World Vision - North Gaza
World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world.
World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking a: Finance Officer - North Gaza (Amenca II Project: Duration: 14 Months)
The successful candidate will:
Prepare, review, and control the daily financial transactions
Ensure timely, accurate, and integral outputs
Perform monthly Financial Analysis and conduct periodic financial monitoring and review of WV partners
Enhance internal controls and compliance to donor and WVI requirements
Work closely with Programs staff in preparing budgets for future grant proposals
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience. Proven experience in Grants is an asset
Thorough knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
Fluency in oral and written English and Arabic
Knowledge of Sun Systems and Vision Applications an asset
Ability to communicate information effectively
Commitment to providing quality results and service
Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining collaborative relationships
Ability to think clearly, deeply, and broadly
Autonomous, self-motivated, and demonstrating a high level of accountability
Receptive to feedback and committed to learning for growth and development
Previous experience working with an International NGO a definite plus
Integrity and strong identification with World Vision’s Core Values
