The Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA) is an autonomous organization contributing to the development of the Palestinian economy
through its work in economic analysis and forecasting, supervision of banking and other financial institutions so as to maintain the soundness and efficiency of the financial system. PMA invites qualified candidates to submit their resumes for the following vacancy:
Senior Application Administrator- National Payment Switch
Level: S4-S3
Department: IT
Location: PMA Head Quarter
Direct Supervisor: Business Systems Support Division Head
Job Responsibilities and Duties
-To follow up on Systems administration to Perform a variety of comprehensive assessment, planning, development and implementation for ATM National payment Switch Solution, also Provide administrative support to mainly PSD and others.
-Provide support and operational services to all Banks efficiently and ensuring the availability of service 24/7.
-Responsible for all system support, upgrade, and enhancement tasks.
-Manage all security operations and configurations related to the system.
-To play the role of Business and Technological Analysts who will be the gateway person between the business, the clients and vendor.
-System configuring (Front End and Backend modules).
-Monitoring and management of National Payment Switch System internal processes (running/shutting down the processes).
Input/output files management.
National Payments Switch and roles management.
National Payments Switch actions audit.
Supports operator of PMA National Payments Switch, developing documentation and assistance tools.
Banking calendar running.
Academic Qualifications
BA or MA in the field of computer science or computer engineering or information systems.
Experience Background
-At least five years related work experience :
-In medium or large enterprises, preferably in Banking sector.
-In administration of medium or large enterprise IT solutions.
-In Banking Applications, Payments Systems, Clearing, and Financial SWIFT Transaction.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
-Sound Knowledge in Oracle and UNIX platforms.
-Project management skills.
-Ability to work under pressure conditions.
-Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Excellent analysis and planning skills.
-Team player and leader.
