The Leadership and Teacher Development Program (LTD) is seeking to hire a full-time Capacity Building Coordinator to be based at the LTD project office in Ramallah.
The CB Coordinator will receive general supervision, administrative guidance, and day-to-day supervision from the Capacity Building Specialist.
Specifically, the LTD Capacity Building Coordinator is responsible for the following duties:
1-Coordinate the communications and logistics for the effective implementation of MOE,
District and school capacity building components for the LTD
2-Coordinate the logistics of the study tours
3-Coordinate and conduct field visits to the various directorates and partners to ensure proper implementation of training activities, and all relevant logistics.
4-Attend the curriculum development committee meetings, and follow-up on all necessary
modifications, and preparation of training materials.
5-Arrange the LTD support and logistics associated with the scheduling, delivery and monitoring of the MoE engagement with teachers, principals and supervisors in the delivery of schoolbased initiatives and SIP development.
6-Assist with the collection, review, and follow-up of the school improvement plans.
7-Ensure proper documentation of professional development activities relevant to Capacity Building.
8-Contribute to the organization of the capacity building conferences and workshops
9-Ensure proper maintenance of an archival system to document and preserve training materials, policies and procedures, and coordinate with partner MoE and consultants to ensure their timely submission of documented evidence of their inputs, outputs and outcomes.
10-Assist in archiving data and information of relevance for periodic technical updates and the project’s quarterly reports
11-Assist in the processing of payments to partner organizations, institutions, and consultants in accordance with contractual agreements.
12-Maintain an updated Geo/MIS system of all capacity building activities.
13-Prepare minutes of all meetings whether internally, with the partners, or MOE and share with relevant parties.
14-Provide office clerical support and administrative assistance as required;
15-Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
-At least 5 years of relevant experience
-Precise attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
-Ability to spend considerable time in the field.
-Self-motivation and initiation are highly desirableExcellent written and spoken Arabic
-Good written and spoken English
-Experience using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
