This position serves as a part of the Regional Development, Learning & Impact Team focusing on generating learning and improving impact by working with national office projects that are aligned to the education learning hub. This position is based in Jerusalem but requires travel to numerous national offices in the Middle East /East Europe Region (MEER). In this role, the candidate will report to the Regional Field Support Director and will have three primary tasks; generating educational learning through action learning and research, facilitating collaboration with national office education programming with a focus on driving quality results and networking with internal and external stakeholders across a diverse region. Position duration: three years contract with proposed start date, 1 March 2013. [/FONT]
[FONT="]World Vision JWG is seeking : Education Learning Hub Leader
The successful candidate will:
Ensure that the education learning hub is impact driven
Conduct a mapping process, based on the WV research and development framework to select projects to align to learning hub in order to generate shared evidence and learning.
Identify priority concepts according to the MEER Learning hub guidelines
Analyze, synthesize and transfer generated learning across aligned projects into refined programmatic models
Disseminate and promote validated models through internal and external networks[/FONT] [FONT="]
Qualifications/Requirements
-Masters degree in education, political/international studies, international development, social work, psychology, business administration or a relevant field
-At least 5 years of broad experience in Education programming, Program/project design, implementation monitoring , evaluation and reporting
-Good experience in management/consultancy on Education and/or Education programmes at a national or regional level
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Significant leadership experience in an international organization
-Thinking clearly, deeply and broadly
-Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
-Strong influencing and negotiation skills
-Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
-Achieving quality results and service.
-Extensive travel is expected (25-35%)
-Valid driving license
-Integrity and strong identification with WV Core Values.[/FONT]
