The Agricultural Development Association (PARC) is a Palestinian non-profit and non-governmental organization.
PARC is looking to recruit a Coordinator for Demonstration Farm to work in its office in Gaza.
job: Coordinator for Demonstration Farm in Al Nakheel Garden
Location: Gaza
Duration: 1 year
Key Qualifications:
Candidates should meet the following:
University degree in Plant production and protection
Three years of relevant experience and technical work in the sectors of agricultural at field level
Working knowledge of English
Selection Criteria:
Candidates will be assessed against the following:
Extent of experience in vegetable and tree cultivation;
Demonstrated ability to conduct cultivation experiment;
Extent of familiarity with the participatory agricultural extension method;
Demonstrated ability to analyze a result of evaluation study and survey;
Demonstrated communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team, and interpersonal skills;
Capability of working with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
Good skills in computer/word processing.
